Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

It sounds as though you may have bronchitis. Bronchitis means inflammation and infection of the bronchial air passages in the lung.It may be viral or bacterial.
In most cases it is a viral infection.

The blood that you are seeing is as a result of inflammation of the lining of the nasal passages.

You can consider using a mucolytic which would decrease the viscosity of the mucus and allow it to be expelled easier. These are usually available over the counter.
In addition the use of a cough suppressant if the cough is severe and an antihistamine may also help.
If you still have nasal congestions then you can use a decongestants.
These medications are often combined, you may be able to find one medication that has a mucolytic, decongestant and cough suppressant in it.

I hope this helps and you feel better soon

Thank you for your query.
Your symptoms are those of a bacterial upper respiratory tract/sinus infection . This will cause a green/purulent post nasal drip, which can cause a cough, bloody nose and nausea. Your sinuses drain more readily when you are lying down as opposed to being upright. The treatment consists of taking the appropriate antibiotic, a nasal decongestant and something to loosen the phlegm. Please consult a doctor for this prescription. Kind regards.
