Cold water sponging is advisable during episodes of fever. You should go for cbc,qbc,urine,sgpt,s.bilirubin investigations and take proper treatment accordingly. Give him simple diet,more liquids like fruit juices,buttermilk,coconut water,lemon water with salt,sugar. Red spots usually occurs in viral fever during regression phase.
