ENT Specialist 's  Response
HI I have gone through your mail and as you said that you are having dry irritating cough which is quite severe and onece start becmes difficult to stop, this is associated with soreness in throat and congested nose which sometimes bleeds, now after reading your complaints I would like to say that during coughing intrathorasic pressure is increased, this increase intrathorasic pressure decreases venus return to heart thus peripheral congestion occurs this is the explanation of nasal congestion and even nasal bleed in your case.THANKS
