Cough With Clear, Brownish Blob Phelgm, Pain In Nape, Shoulder And Head. History Of Taking Tablets For Cold, Flu. Concerning?
I have recently been in bed for 3 days now with changing symptoms. I started with a dry cough and runny blocked nose after 2 days of taking cold/flu codral tablets and rest with plenty of hot water drinks I have developed back of neck pain and shoulder as well as headache mainly at the rear of my head. I have also changed from dry cough to productive cough, But it is not as though I am coughing all the time, Cough produces phlegm that is sorta clear with brownish blobs. Could this just be a bad cold or something more underlying?
Hi, It seems that you are having upper respiratort tract infection resulting lower respiratory tract infection. Go for higher antibiotic medicine course for 4-5 days to clear infection. Take expectorant for symptomatic relief. Avoid cold drinks and junk food. Ok and take care.
