Cough With Phelgm And Sore Throat, Losing Voice. No Help From Antibiotics. Can Cough Shot Be Taken For Speedy Recovery?
hi doctor, i m having a cough that has been going on for 4 days. there was sore throat and phlegm along with the cough. i went to the doctor on the first day the cough came, and he prescribed me with uphadyl and cephalexin 250mg QID. i m on my 4th day of medication and i m finishing my antibiotic course, but the cough doesnt seem to get better. its irritating and my heavy cough is getting me losing my voice. the doc suggests me a cough shot if i want a speedy recovery. what would u recommend me, medicine or injection?
