Coughed Phlegm With Blood, Have Endometriosis. Reason?

I coughed bloody phlegm, it's only happened a couple times, today only, but I wanted to know if I needed to be concerned or just let it pass? I don't know if you need any background, so I am 18 and female, I don't smoke ever. I take acid reflex pills. I have Endometriosis. I don't know if any of this helps, sorry if it doesn't.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for consulting with us.

Endometriosis is a disease which virtually can happen anywhere in your body.

Coughing up sputum with blood is not to be taken lightly. Along with your history there is a rare chance of it to be related with endometriosis.

Was the blood in sputum noticed during your periods of menstruation ?

I'd advise you to get an appointment with a Gynaecologist and do the necessary investigations.

Wish you good health.
