Could BP Medications And Blood Thinners Cause Purple Discoloration On Thighs?

I m a 59 yr old female that was recently diagnosed w/high blood pressure. They put a stint in my left subclavian. I have been put on BP meds & blood thinners. I ve noticed purple discoloration on my thighs. could this be related to the BP problem or medicines? Or is it total unrelated? I m also going thru a major depression for the past few weeks.

Hi,

There may be capillaries puncture due to leaking of blood, where skin discoloration occurs. Hence, keep your blood pressure normal. Routinely checks lipid profile clotting time and bleeding time.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
