Could Cardevil, Spironolactone And Digoxin Increase The Blood Sugar?

I'm TOLD I have diabetes. but I am a heart patient and take cardevil, spirolactane, digozen, and warfarin every day. Could these meds drive my sugar #'s up ?
I do enjoy sweets, but not to excess. And I weight 125 lbs (5' 2", age 59 3/14).
I've been taking my blood sugar #'s and they are about 153. I don't want to take the metformin which I have been prescribed if I don't have to.
Please advise.

Thank you,

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Looking at those medications you mention, one of them can raise blood sugar levels somewhat and should be considered as a factor, that one is Carvedilol (you write cardevil which I think is carvedilol).
Of course the values which have been found in your tests must be considered, carvedilol can't be blamed for it if the values are way above norm, so you should discuss this information with your doctor.

I hope to have been of help.
