Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 80-year-old father, who is normally a go-getter, suffers from 1-3 daily attacks of extreme fatigue, a feeling of hopelessness and "hot eyes." He must sit quietly until the attacks pass. Sometimes he is too exhausted to stand. Last year, he was treated for Lyme disease. Could the two be linked or is there another possibility?
hello.. is it a new onset.. neuroborelliasis(lyme disease of brain) cause sever fatigue in patients..if he dint have any symptoms for a while after disease and is new onset..then it may not be due to lyme.. it is better to get evaluated by a physician and get some blood workup done for other causes of fatigue.
