Could Norethisterone For Delaying Periods Affect The Baby If Already Pregnant?

hey, me and my partner have been trying for a baby for around 2-3 months now, we are going on holiday for our anniversary in which my period is due. i have been to the doctors and received norethisterone to delay my period. i have a couple days until i need to start my tablets, though the doctor said nothing about the pregnancy side of things. as i have to take the tablets 3 days before my expected period would it be too early to test? and would the tablets cause my baby any harm if i do turn out to be pregnant?
