Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My doctors have had me on either Oxycodone or hydrocodone since I herniated disks in my back in 2000. I haven t done anything to overuse anything, and I ve developed severe tendonitis in both wrists (I had surgery on my right wrist last year 8/14), and my left elbow. Since my wrist surgery last August, the popping and pain has returned, and I m having surgery on my left elbow next week. I m wondering if the tendonitis could have developed from taking Oxycodone, because I haven t a clue how it developed.
Common oxycodone side effects may include: mild drowsiness, headache, dizziness, tired feeling;stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, constipation, loss of appetite;dry mouth; or,mild itching.
hydrocodone SIDE EFFECTS: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, or drowsiness may occur. Some of these side effects may decrease after you have been using this medication for a while.
