I have had my uterus removed but have both my ovaries. I have tried the the Estradot patch 50 mg not enought to stop hot flashes, 100 is too much as I am all puffy and very thick in the middle. Currently JUST Started using a compound cream which Is equivalent to 75 mg estrogen . I am just starting 100 mg of prometrium at bedtime which is suppose to help with the water retention and provide better sleep. The first line on the info provided to me with the prometrium states "used for women with an intact uterus ,( have not had surgery to remove the uterus") Please advise if I am better to be using a different product to help rid the water retention and bloating.
