Hi, I m 39 and I received an abnormal EKG on Friday but didn t get an explanation. She said to follow up with a cardiologist but I don t have insurance. I made the initial appointment with a general practitioner so I can go through the system and get another referral. I have thoracic outlet syndrome and was supposed to have the first rib removed but didn t.. Could the TOS compression cause the abnormal EKG? Please explain what these results indicate and how quickly I should follow up? A few years ago I had a very strong arithmia and followed up with an echocardiogram and stress test. Everything came back fine then. I regularly have minor chest pains. I recently have headaches and fatigue.
