Could Vitamin Supplements Be The Cause For Severe Hair Loss?
Hello Dr, Im taking INH and Vit B6 and prenatal Vit every other day. My question is: do all the medicine I take are the causes of falling hair? I notice that my hair is falling more than usual everyday. If yes, could you please recommend me anything to prevent from losing hair. Thanks.

Not all the medicines you are taking causes hair fall. Only INH causes hair fall and even severe hair loss called alopecia. Hair growth will resume immediately after you stop taking INH. You need to complete the course of INH before stopping it. As you are taking prenatal vitamins, they help in hair growth.
The following are few tips that can be followed to reduce hair loss or promote hair growth:
1) Tab. Trichoton to be taken once daily for atleast 2 months
2) Drink plenty of water
3) Use Ketoconazole shampoo if there is any dandruff on scalp
4) Consume a diet that is healthy and rich in fruits and vegetables
5) Protein rich diet is important.
6) Stress free life style
7) Daily exercise for 45 mins a day is recommended.
