Could A Delayed Period, Abdomen Bloating And Cramping Pain Be A Pregnancy?
hi...
last month i had unprotected sex around the 26-28th of may, i was still on my period, but at the end of the cycle... i took the plan b one step pill within 48hrs of having sex.
it is now the 27th of june and i still havnt got my period, on the 22nd of june i become bloated in my lower abdomen and i still feel this way, i also have slight tight/cramp feeling but not like period pain, i think i am getting my period but them it is just a white discharge.
i did two home preg test this morning and both are negative but i am still very worried...
please help
Hi dear you had unprotected sex but at the end of your cycle plus you have taken pill plan b within 48 hrs so both measures decreases your chances of getting pregnant so the home pregnancy test will come negative now, ideal time to do it is after 2 weeks of delay in periods so you can do that plus USG for final confirmation at that time, however minor delay in periods is possible because of plan B as it causes hormonal imbalance. it is a temporary effect will go off quickly. Hope this information helps And consult a gynaecologist if problem persists Regards Dr.Sohil Takodara
