Could A Dent On Shin Causing Pain While Walking Post A Fall Indicate Fracture?

Hi I m a 26 year old woman I fell yesterday on my steps and hit my shinbone really hard now I have a dent in it about a inch around and a half inch deep it hurts to walk by as long as I don t walk on it or touch it it don t hurt could it be broken or just sore

It seems to be a soft tissue injury. But I will prefer to suggest you that please get it checked once by an orthopedist for proper Physical examination and evaluation.

For pain you should apply around the area of impact Voltaren Gel and massage gently. Don't apply inside the open wound if there is any. For wound to save it from secondary bacterial infection apply Triple antibiotic ointment.
