Taking three tabs of Valium is certainly not proper and can be dangerously sedating. Rather a long acting less potent benzodiazepines like clonazepam can be considered and discussed with your treating psychiatrist. If they are panic attack s in such case one can think of shorter acting benzodiazepine to be taken as required. Other important thing to known it s the abuse potential associated with these drugs. It should not be taken not for more than few months as it would lead to development of tolerance and dependence. At the same time abrupt discontinuation can lead to serious symptoms like even seizures in severe cases.
