Could A Rash On Neck Going To The Middle Of Head Be The Cause For Hairfall?

My daughter age 37, in the last 7 to 8 years has had thinning hair. While I was trimming her hair noticed areas very short and very thin but I also noticed at the base of the neck going up to the middle of the head a rash. Should this rash be checked out.

it is better to show your daughter to a dermatologist near by. i cannot comment on the rash without examining it. some times the rash can be the cause of the skin heir in that region.
