Could Abdominal Bloating, Nausea And Stomach Ache Suggest Intestine Infection?

I have had stomach bloating for over 3 weeks, I felt this was aggravated on a works evening out to which I found the food did not digest well. I was not alone in feeling bloated from this evening. I feel nausea after eating and with drinks with milk, dizzy, and have stomach aching but no sharp pain. It is burning in the middle of my chest in between my ribs arching downwards too. Gassy too. I was wondering if this was an intestine infection or curiously I had Gallstone diagnosed 10 years ago but they were not treated. Could it be any of these?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If I will be assigned to treat you, I will suggest a few lab tests like ESR, CBC, LFT, PT, INR, urea breath test [abdominal sonogram]. Well, as your symptoms points to acute gastritis, cholecystitis, peptic ulcer, gall stone [so, few above tests will lead to your diagnosis].

Generalized things can be helpful even before a diagnosis:
a] Your diet should include fruits, vegetables, salads and avoid any caffeine, smoking, alcohol, junk food
b] Join any online physical activity like sukshm yoga an art of living online course ombw or sahaj samadhi.

These in long term prevent relapse of disease and in remission when combined with medication, it is very helpful. I will recommend it. These pharmacological interventions are helpful according to your history, till lab results come.
Protonix [pantoperazole] 40mg for 2 weeks [before meals]
Rulox [liquid] 10 ml 6 hourly [1 hr before or 3 hours after meal
If any side effect comes [like diarrhea, loose stools, allergic manifestation], discontinue them.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
