Could Abdominal Cramping And Vaginal Spotting Be Withdrawal Symptoms Of Lutera?
Hello, My last cycle was on June 11 and I was supposed to start my new pack of Lutera but we moved and I had to find another doctor. My question is I have been cramping really bad and I have had some pink/brown spotting. I also feel like I m going to be starting my cycle again, my back hurts. What do you think is going on?
Pink or brown spotting can occur even during a normal menstrual cycle.Abdominal cramping and spotting can occur after stopping Contraceptive pills like Lutera. Your body will take time to adjust to the new hormone levels. Your cycles will return back to normal in the next one or two months.Any foul smelling vaginal discharge should be ruled out which can indicate vaginal infections.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
