Hi,
Welcome to Health care magic,

Chemical ingestion can be harmful to human body but when they are injested or swallowed in a sufficient quantity. It may cause stomach trouble to severe life threatening problem.

Here in your husband's case, you have put just 2 drops on his tongue which might cause some irritation or pain or ulcer but it can not be dangerous or serious, so no need to get panicked.

He can wash his mouth with fresh water and apply antiseptic gel if there is burning or irritation.

Take tablet vitamin B complex with folic acid daily for faster recovery.

Consult your GP if symptoms worsens.

Regards,
