Could An Infection Cause Indigestion,stomach Pain And Diarrhea?
Over a month ago i was with my 86 year old father when he was sick. He was vomiting and coughed in my face spraying me with spittle and vomit. Several days later I started to develope stomach issues. Indigestion, heartburn stomach pain and now the latest diarrhea. My father is still sick and so am I. My question is this: is there a bacteria or virus or something else that I could have caught from my Dad that is keeping the both of us ill?

Dear nothing to worry about it if he have spitted along with vomitus few possible disease may spread if you have eaten without washing your hands.
Hepatitis A,E some times hepatitis b if you have any cuts on your skin while direct contact of vomitus. viral influenza,common cold rarely salmonella or shigella etc..
But don't worry please get investigate yourself and consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
