Welcome To HCM
This is Dr Amit. Yes Anemia specially Iron Deficiency Anemia can cause acne ( pimples) along with premature loss of hair, alopecia areata, greying of hair, reduced growth of nails etc which are non hematological effects of anemia.
I will advice you to do Hb, peripheral smear and serum ferritin to see how severe anemia is.
Start taking Iron supplements along with multivitamins after taking advice from your doctor and apply clindamycin (Erytop) oinment/lotion to the area affected by pimples after washing the face properly two times a day
Hope i have given satisfactory answer to your question.
Regards
