Could Asthma, Pain In Leg And Itching Of Skin Be Related To G6pd Deficiency?
Greetings! My son is a G6pd, and i observe his always sick! He has asthma, and now his complaining of pain in his leg even though no trauma. Its just he will tell i need to massage his leg to relieve the pain. And also, he is having always skin itchiness so his tendency is to scratch always. Is there any problems in related to g6pd. I am worried as his mother. I hope you can help me..
As you explain the situation in my opinion all of his signs and symptoms might be related to asthma and are an indication that the asthma is not well controlled. I suggest you to sent him to his treating doctor to re-evaluate his situation again closely.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
