Could Bed-wetting Be Caused By Chemical Imbalance In The Brain?
our grandson was diagnosed with wilms tumor at 10 months. Had kidney removed and did chemo for 6 mo. He is 13 now and continues to wet the bed. seen many doctors and followed recommendations including tonsillectomy, sleep study, urologist, and now recommending neurologist. can bedwetting be caused by chemical inbalance in the brain?
It is unlikely related to brain related issues. It is common among children and in most cases it will settle once the child grows old. Alarm devices and behavioural therapy will be effective.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
