Could Benign Tumour Be The Cause For Hypertension In A Cardiac Patient?
Hello, I have been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia on the right side as well as a benign tumor (I believe they said it is an acoustic) but it is on the left side. I also have hypertension and have a terrible time finding a good medication plan working with my cardiologist to get it under control. My question is, could the tumor be causing my hypertension? (Ranging Anywhere from 210/120-130/75)
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Benign tumour & trigeminal neuralgia cannot be the cause for hypertension, except if you have Pheochromocytoma. It is benign tumor of the adrenal gland that produce excess adrenaline & can cause hypertension. All other benign tumour including Acoustic tumor cannot cause hypertension
Refer to your Cardiologist Hope this information helps.
