Could Black Discharge Be Due To Depo Shot?

I'm 21 and recently started the Depo shot. I'm due for my second shot in 10 days and about a week ago I starting having a brown/black discharge. It initially smelled a little funny, but now it has no odor. Is it related to the Depo shot? Should I go back for the second?
