Could Black Stools With Blood Be Due To Dental Surgery?

my 60 year old husband had dental surgery 2 weeks ago...he had a tooth pulled and an implant. He was given a high dosage of IBEPROFEN which he discontinued a week after surgery. Three days ago he started have black stools with blood present. Could this be the result of the dental surgery? He is going to the doctor today.

A dental surgery will not give black stools after 2 weeks; it is the intestine bleed from possible ulcer due to various reasons.
