Could Bleeding Gums,skin Rashes And Fever Be Due To HIV Infection?
hello,
<br><br>my sister is infected with HIV in the year of 2008 and her platelet count is 32000 currently. she had fever about 2days back and then the rashes started at legs and hands. she also had a symptom of bleeding at gums which is stopped at this moment.
<br><br>what would be the exact reason ? doctor have tried dengue and malayria tests which resulted negative. is this because of HIV positive?

It could certainly be related to the HIV. The rash and bleeding could be from low platelets. I would want to know what is causing that. A variety of infections could cause low platelets, or there could be a problem with the bone marrow. Unusual conditions are associated with HIV; some of which can be treated. She needs more tests.
