Could Bleeding Polyps In Abdomen Be Fatal?

I have stomach polyps that bleed and I get anemia. I just had another endoscopy and I had 1 large bleeding polyp and 3 more that weren't bleeding. I go in every 3 months for endoscopes and always have bleeding polyps. I have had 4 units of blood because my hgb is around 7. I also get IV iron as iron upsets my stomach when taking it orally. I drink coke and have been told now to quit drinking it. My doctor said I could end up bleeding to death or have other serious problems. I'm going to have a hard time quitting coke but am trying. How likely is it that I could really bleed to death?
