Could Brownish Discharge And Delayed Periods Post Protected Sex Indicate Pregnancy?

Dear Sir/Ma am, I am 21 and in my 2nd year of college. I had my last periods from 20th April - 22nd April. On 20th April I had safe sex using a condom. But after a week of having sex I had a brownish fluid discharge that continued for a day. I have missed my periods on date and having doubt that I might be pregnant. I am going to do a pregnancy test today via prega news. If the result is positive and if my parents find out about it, they are going to kill me. I want to go for an abortion. Please advise me can I do medical abortion at home without the knowledge of anyone. Can I get Mifepristone and Mesopitol or any other alternate medicine in any chemist shop without prescription. And if somehow I am able to gather courage and visit a abortion clinic how much are they going to charge (approx.) & can they keep it confidential. Please help...

Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
Irregularities in menses is very common and can happen in any one, even in person who is having regular menses.

Discharge looks brown when it’s discharge tinged with old blood that took longer to come out from your uterus.
But as you have mentioned about sex, it can also be implantation bleeding, which occurs when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine lining.

One of the earliest and simplest way to know that you are pregnant or not, is by using, urine pregnancy test.

So I advice you to perform a test a week after missed period and with morning sample of urine. This test kits are nearly 98% accurate, so reliable.
With transvaginal ultrasonography, the diagnosis of pregnancy can be made earlier by 4-5 weeks gestation.
I advice you not to take any medication without consulting doctor, as all medications are external substances and they have their own side effects.

Medical methods for first trimester abortion have been demonstrated to be both safe and effective. This includes the use of hormonal agents. This are prescription based agents, hence I can not suggest you here without the examination.

Hence I advice you to see OBG specialist for examination and for further help.Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,
I find this answer helpful
