Could Bruised, Painful Body With Tender To Touch Lump After Fall And Hit On Right Side Of The Body Indicate Fracture?

hi - i fell down some stone steps over a week ago and kncoked the top of my bottom on the right hand side (to the right of my lower back) on every step coming down - about 8-10 steps -- it is still very bruised and painful and have a lump which is very tender to touch - could i have fractured anything ?

Hi,

I have gone through your query.

You should not ignore it , it may be a fracture. You should get x-ray of back and x-ray pelvis with both hips and send me the report.

If no fracture is detected then the treatment will be only rest and painkillers like ibuprofen, but if fracture is there then we have to fix it depending upon the type of fracture.

I hope it helps.
