Could Bruising And Tugging Pain In Breast Indicate Swollen Gland?

I m 48 yrs old female. I have no family history of breast cancer. I have experienced pain in my left breast a few weeks ago and went in for a mammogram. The mammogram was normal. The pain is gone, but when I move a certain way I can feel a bruising or tugging pain. I don t feel any lumps nor is there abnormal swelling. Can it be a swollen gland? i have an appointment with my gyne next month.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi dear. Thanks for giving me a chance to help you on HCM. yes its possible that there is some gland thats swollen and causes pain sometimes.
It may also be a lipoma that causes this sensation.
But as your mammogram is normal so no need to worry about it. Keep an eye on whats happening. And I appreciate that u made an early appointment for OB/GYN.
Have a nice time and stay blessed. Give us a feedback at the end please.

Regards !
