Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

From what you are describing, it seems a case of untreated Costochondritis. If you ran cat scan, it could have shown floating rib. However, I need to review the scan report to analyze the changes noted.

For the moment, I can only suggest to:
- Apply alternating warm and cold compresses locally
- Take oral analgesic medications
- Apply analgesic gel locally

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini
