Could Chest Pain, Difficulty Breathing And Tingly Arm Suggest Cockrodiosis?

My boyfriend was having bad chest pains and difficulty breathing and his arm was tingly like it was falling asleep. He thought he was having a heart attack so he went to the er and without bloodwork or anything just because he worked at a chicken hatchery the dr said that he had a chicken disease called cockrodiosis or something like that. And they gave him 4 steroid shots in the chest above his heart. and gave him 2 scripts and sent him on his way with no information or nothing . now his arm and back are hurting him badly ... what is going on ? HELP????

Good day and thanks for your question. There is nothing in the medical dictionary know as Cockrodiosis.
However your boyfriend could be allergic to chicken and chicken products, and if he is asthmatic he could have chest pain with difficulty in breathing.
Your boyfriend might need to wear protector mask while at work since he's allergic to chicken products.
Thank you.
