Could Choking On A Food Particle Be Life Threatening?

Hi 2 days ago I choked on a cucumber and I thought it went to the wrong pipe then I coughed because that s how u suppose to react. And now my chest hurts plus I have a little bit of anxiety of thinking if this is going to be life threatening. Help please

I really appreciate your concern, it this was the tracheal entry of foreign body then it might have come at once with the refluxes, and if not then it would be medical emergency which demands the immediate attention, because it may cause breathing difficulty, so need to worry about it, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
