Could Cold In A Child Be Due To Swallowing Of Coin?

Three year old swallowed a dime three days ago. I have not noticed a passing in the bowel movements he has had. He now has a cold and i am unsure if this is due to the swallowing of the coin or if it is simply just a common cold. He seems to be breathing like normal. Normal eating and drinking habits.
