Could Constant Body Aches And Fatigue Indicate Recurring Lyme Disease?

I have constant body aches and fatigue. I started Armor Thyroid, about 5 years ago. Started feelin a bit better. Then got Lyme disesease. Got antibiotics within 30 days and took for 2 weeks. I have never started feeling more energy again. Could I still have Lyme disease? I asked dr. about another test, but was told there is no follow up test. what can I do?

Hello,

I recommend checking again Lyme antibodies plasma levels and also vitamin D and vitamin B12 plasma levels for possible deficiency. In the meantime, I recommend taking magnesium supplements 400mg daily to help improve your situation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
