Could Constant Dry Cough Be The Side Effect Of Lisinopril?
I am currently taking Liprinosil and have been experiencing constant cough caused by a dry throat. My Dr. Who perscribed it to me has left the practice and I am in search of a new Dr. In the mean time should I stop taking the Liprinosil? She has me on metformin and simvastitin as well. She said that since I was on the metformin that I needed to be on Liprinosil to prevent me from getting high blood pressure. What should I do, I noticed that the cough seems to be one of the side of effects?
lisinopril and other drugs in this group are wel known cause of dry cough...in that case angiotensin receptot blocker like telmisartan or losartan can be prescribed.
