I just had a pain that almost knocked me off my chair, the pain is GONE just a dull ache Do you think this could have been a kidney stone? I was ready to go to the er just before this happened
Hello Thanks for query . Constant dull pain below the rib cage can be mostly due to presence of stone either in kidney or ureter nd needs evaluation .
Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Urine routine and culture. 2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis..
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
