Could Contact Of Menstruation Blood And Vaginal Fluid During Protected Sex Cause HIV?

Hello Dr. I am writing as I had sex with a high risk strange lady during her period. I wore a latex condom and it was ok and did not break.I am circumcised and shaved. After sex there was some blood on the condom. Here is my concern: After sex, I found some blood on the base of my penis, some must have smeared during sex, as the condom covered only three quarters of my penis.I also found some blood on the top of my balls.Protected sex, but having some blood and vaginal fluid come in contact with the base of the penis shaft, does this lead to HIV transmission?I will be taking the test after three month, but it is a very long time to wait and be worried. I also have a girlfriend, is it necessary to go through the emotional problems of telling her? In three months we will obviously be having sex, should I have sex with her?I am trying to understand the full picture, but in the internet it only discusses unprotected sex during period, and it also does not discuss which part of the penis HIV transmission happens, is it the tip only? does it include the penis base? the balls? Please let me know if you have an answer.Thank you.

hi, you are exposed to the unprotected sex. here there is some chances of hiv spread. it can spread by contact with vaginal fluid. you are definitly at risk. its is not like that which part is safe. because vaginal fluid can rich up to your genitelia, so you need hiv testing. but no need to wait for 3 month. you can go through confirmatory test like p24 antigen or pcr. you can do it after a month of exposure. till date if you want to have sex then take precaution and always use condom. its not necessary to tell her and go through emotional problem. but from next time use safe sex practice only with single partner and remain faithful to your partner. go for hiv testing after a month. dont worry. everything will be ok.
