I was diagnosed with MRSA in my urine almost a year ago. I went to the emergency room because I was blown up like a balloon and my urin had been dark and has a terrible smell to it. I had no pain..no buring, no frquecy problems or unable to urinate at all. I was catheterized in the er sent home with antibiotics and hydroclorothiazide and sent to a Urologist. The urologist said I had a slow flow of urine and not all urine is excreted. I was told to cath 3 times a day..to which I have never done. Its been a year and i still have the same foul smelling dark urine but now I m in a full blown stage of a chronic yeast infection. Still no pain or urgency to urinate. Do these 2 issues go hand and hand?
