I had DVT 6 yrs ago that was linked to birth control pills. 6 months of anticoagulant therapy and no hormones. Am now 48yrs old, not in menopause and just recently had second episode of DVT. After complaining about heavy periods on anticoagulants, an ultrasound revealed that I have thickening of endometrium, and . Am scheduled for endometrial biopsy. Could the second round of blood clots be caused by/related to uterine cancer?
