Could Delay In Periods Along With Slight Cramps And Water Discharge Be Pregnancy?

I have not had a period since mid August, it is now mid October. I have taken three hpt and all were negative. I have been having slight cramps and a clear watery discharge. I have also had some hot flashes. Could this be a pregnancy or something else?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
If you had unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation, there is possibility of pregnancy.
Just by symptoms we cannot come to one conclusion regarding pregnancy.
Delay in periods can occur due to many causes like hormonal imbalance, thyroid abnormalities etc.
Vaginal discharge can increase during early pregnancy.
But this type of physiological leuchorrhea can be seen in premenstrual phase also.
So, once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for ultrasound.
Ultrasound helps in ruling out the possibility of pregnancy and also in finding out the possible cause for delayed periods like poly cystic ovary disease etc.
If she recommends go for hormonal profile, thyroid profile etc.
With this workup the possible cause for your delayed periods can be identified and treated.
If you do not get periods even after one week, take tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding with your doctor's advice.
Take care.
