Could Delayed Periods Be Due To Oxytetracycline?

Hi just wondered if oxytetracycline could delay your period ? Only started them 10 days ago and my period was due about a week ago and hasn t appeared. I have a copper coil and also have taking pregnancy test just to be sure . Just wondered if it could be the antibiotics.

Usually oxytetracycline does not affect the menstrual cycle.. but in case you are pregnant please stop using it immediately and consult your obstetrician/gynecologist to change your medications.

Nitin
