General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi dear. I am your physician, having a vast years long experience in the field of General Surgery, psychiatry, Radiotherapy, OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Ottorhinolaryngology and Nutrition and weight loss, and Pain Management. I have carefully gone through your case and in my expert opinion polycystic ovaries(PCOD) is making trouble to you. There is no natural way to kick in for regular menstruation in a periodic manner until unless your ovaries are working properly.
Estrogen/progesterone pills flushes the blood to ovaries increasing chances of survival of growing follicle tonbecome an egg. This egg then shedds down and bleeds every month.
Also these medications cause a change in blood supply to brain (pituitary) FSH/LH female hormones also alter and it becomes feasible for a woman to ovulate timely.
Please stick to a regimen after consulting a good OB/GYN Dr. And I hope you get well soon.
