Could Delayed Periods Be Due To Pregnancy?

I m 24 years old married women. My periods are regular in every month ( usually 29- 31 days). last time I had peperiod on 17th July. This month I missed my periods. So I took pregnancy test with pregnancy kit on 22Aug. The result was negative. Is this result was correct or should I consult doctor for pregnancy test.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

If you conducted your pregnancy test at least 2 weeks from your last sexual contact and using an early morning urine sample for your test then the result could be accurate. Either way, I would still recommend going about the test again in 2 days time for a more accurate conclusion.

Best wishes.
