Could Delayed Periods Be Related To Pregnancy?

Hi, My question is related to Gynaecology. I have missed my period this month. It was supposed to be on Feb 18th but still I have not had one. The pregnancy test results are also negative. How do I know whether I am still pregnant or not? Is there anything to worry about because of the missed period? Thanks Anita

Welcome to Health care magic. Thank you for posting your question.
I can understand your concern.

Hi Anita.

Do not worry much. The date can be delayed by a few days.
What you can do is repeat the urinary pregnancy test or get a serial blood HCG test done. These can rule out pregnancy.
However the best way to rule out pregnancy is to get an obstetric ultrasound done.

As of now, I would suggest you to get the 2 tests done.

Do not panic.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
