Could Delayed Periods Mean Pregnancy With A History Of Irregular Cycles ?
Hi, I'm a 39 year old female. I've had irregular cycles all my life. My cycle was supposed to be due on the 25th of this month and I spotted two days prior to my cycle. Only noticed the light pink blood when I wipe. Have not had sexual intercourse since the 12th of this month. I've had spotting before and then I found out I was pregnant but it ended in a miscarriage. Could I be pregnant now.

First thing is its not necessary to have sex daily to get pregnant, sex around the time of ovulation is sufficient which usually occurs around 14th day a regular menstrual cycle. u are having irregular cycles and its very difficult to tell exact date of ovulation. There are chances of u being pregnant now if u had unprotected sex around 12th of the month that u have mentioned. I suggest u to wait 2 or 3 days and do a urine pregnancy test in home and if its negative please contact a local gynaecologist for further help. Regards

Thus rule out Pregnancy by simple Home Urine Pregnancy test.
If it shows Positive, then do an Ultrasound to confirm whether it is intrauterine or ectopic and viability of fetus.
