Could Delayed Periods, Sore Breasts, Bloating And Nausea With HPT Being Negative Indicate Pregnancy?
My period is 18 days late. I m always regular I have taken pregnancy tests and they all are negative. In September I got the depo shot. I was due for the next in January but never went. I received a normal period right on time Feb 2nd. March 2nd came and no period and I don t even feel like I m going to get my period. My breast are a little sore my belly is bloated I have constipation and im nauseous. Took a urine test at the doctors that came back negative they told me to wait 2 weeks and come back. Still waiting for that but like I said I still have no period.. my husband and I had sex while I was ovulating and right before my period was due.. no protection ( pull out method). Could I have gotten pregnant right before my period started and that s why I m late but its too early to detect pregnancy? I hope all this made sense.. I m going a little Bonkers not knowing and my doctors won t give me a blood test for another 3 weeks.. any thoughts?
I would like to clarify a couple of things. Firstly, if a natural menstrual period has occurred, it is impossible for a pregnancy to be present prior to that and persist later on. Since you were on the depo shot, it is more likely that you had the withdrawal period when you missed the next dose. Return of ovulation takes a couple of cycles and ovulation test kits do not confirm ovulation. They only show the peaking LH levels. Further evaluation will clarify the situation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
